Salt Bioremediation

Salt water intrusion is becoming prevalent in the Coastal California areas due to the depletion of the aquifers. Soil microbes is a simpler way to mitigate the incidence of salt build up or salt water intrusion before installing expensive Reverse Osmosis systems.

Applied on 5/10/2001 to a field that was exhibiting salt burn. The bottom leaves with a red border are a result of salt burn. See the University of California NaCl (sodium chloride) effects on strawberry leaves.

Approximately 10 days after treatment, note the green leaves in the center are not burning and are high in potassium. (biotransmutation)

Note the same plant below approximately 30+ days after initial treatment.
